We recommend you bring bugspray, sunscreen, an umbrella, and shoes/clothing that are comfortable for the Summer outdoors + unpaved pathways.

Semi-formal/southern marshview BBQ party under the stars. Black tie dress is not required. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel fabulous & that you will be comfortable in from vows by the oak trees, to the dance floor by the marsh!

Ubers/Lyfts are not abundant in this area (we are in a small town). We recommend you book your taxi rides in advance or rent a car from the airport. See the “Transportation” tab for local taxi contact information. If you are driving in, there will be direction signs guiding you into the venue, and designated parking areas down by the main house.

The event will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in Georgetown, South Carolina. The property is The Venue at Springfield, 872 Samworth Loop, Georgetown, SC 29440. Apple maps is the most accurate way to find the property. There will be signs leading the way. The ceremony is at 4:30 PM, followed by dinner & reception until 10:00 PM.

Yes! There are several hotels nearby in the Georgetown area. For your convenience, we do have a hotel blocks at the Hampton Inn Marina. See our “Local Stays” tab for links to book your hotel through our wedding block.

Both the ceremony & reception will take place outside. While we are anticipating beautiful skies, we are not (yet) in control of the weather. We recommend you come prepared in the event of high heat, humidity, or light rain showers. There will be a tent at the reception area to provide shade, as well as natural shade amongst the trees.

Dinner will be provided buffet-style. You are welcome to serve yourself & try a little bit of everything!

This is an adults-only event, due to the property's liquor regulations.

Enjoy a free limited bar courtesy of the Bride & Groom! Tips for the bartender are welcomed & encouraged!
